New Free Publication in Town – Palacio De Treasure Valley Magazine




Treasure Valley, Idaho (September 1, 2009).

A free bilingual English/Spanish magazine, Palacio De Treasure Valley, will launch September 1, 2009, serving the English and Spanish speaking communities in the Treasure Valley. Palacio De Treasure Valley is a custom monthly magazine that seeks to empower the community by connecting readers with local professionals, highlighting community arts, businesses and services, and providing useful information and resources to readers. Over 10,000 copies will be available in over 150 locations in the Treasure Valley area.

According to Community Director/Publisher, Graciela Fonseca, Palacio De Treasure Valley will join the family of local free publications that the Treasure Valley residents enjoy, and this one will be bilingual. She states, “The informative and entertaining content covers a diverse blend of topics and serves to educate all readers interested in community, family, education, real estate, arts and culture and more. It is designed to bridge communications between the Latino population and those interested in providing high level services and interest to them.”

All content is translated into Spanish and presented side by side with English to reach a wider population. Schools are encouraged to use articles in Palacio De Treasure Valley to teach language. Readers can look forward to such features as learning about local Latino artists, businesses and services. Families will be given ideas on things to do with their children during the holiday season and summer months, including Early Childhood information and parenting ideas. Readers also will be given tips on the real estate market from local experts. The launch issue of Palacio De Treasure Valley will offer hope in this difficult economy with tips on finding a job, ways to keep your car healthy, and inexpensive ideas for improving the environment.

Palacio De Treasure Valley seeks to provide a refreshing and helpful resource for all Treasure Valley residents and visitors. By appealing to a broader population, this magazine will unite and help to make the Treasure Valley more inclusive, as well as make the city more attractive to visitors.
