New Free Publication in Town – Palacio De Long Beach  Magazine

Long Beach, California (May 18, 2009).  A free bilingual English/Spanish magazine, Palacio De Long Beach, will launch June 1, 2009, serving the English and Spanish speaking communities in Long Beach.  Featured on CNN Local Edition this week, Palacio De Long Beach is a custom monthly magazine that seeks to empower the community by connecting readers with top local professionals, highlighting community arts, businesses and services, and providing useful information and resources to readers. Over 10,000 copies will be available in over 150 locations in the Greater Long Beach Area.
According to Editor-In-Chief Andrea M. Sulsona, Palacio De Long Beach will join the family of local free publications that Long Beach, California, residents enjoy. “The informative and entertaining content covers a diverse blend of topics and serves to educate readers interested in community, family, education, real estate, and more. It is designed to bridge communications between the Latino population and those interested in providing high level services to them.”  
All content is translated into Spanish and presented side by side with English to reach a wider population, and schools are encouraged to use articles in Palacio de Long Beach to teach language. Readers can look forward to such features as learning about a new artist from the permanent collection at the Museum of Latin American Art in each issue, and families will be given ideas on things to do with their children during the summer months. Readers also will be given tips on the real estate market from local experts. The launch issue of Palacio De Long Beach will offer hope in this difficult economy with tips on finding a job, ways to keep your car healthy, and inexpensive ideas for improving the environment.
Palacio De Long Beach seeks to provide a refreshing and helpful resource for Long Beach residents and visitors.
